Overview

GymMacros ("we," "us") operates gymmacros.com. This policy describes how we collect and use information when you use our site.

Data We Collect

We do not store any personal data you enter into the macro calculator. All calculations run in your browser — nothing you type (age, weight, height, etc.) is sent to or stored on our servers. The only data transmitted to our servers is when you request an AI coach message, which sends your macro inputs to our Netlify function, which forwards them to OpenAI's API. No identifying information is included.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate usage data (pages visited, session duration, general location at country/city level). This data cannot identify you personally.

AI Coach

When you use the AI coach feature, your macro inputs (goal, activity level, macros) are sent to OpenAI via our server-side function. No names, emails, or identifying information are transmitted. OpenAI's data usage policies apply to that data. See openai.com/policies/privacy-policy.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses cookies for session tracking. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
